You may have concerns about your child’s attention, executive functioning, sensory needs, emotional regulation, handwriting, or daily functioning.

Perhaps you’ve received conflicting advice, struggled to access services, or found yourself wondering what support would truly make a difference.

We understand how challenging that journey can be.

Our team helps families make sense of what they’re seeing, identify practical solutions, and build a plan that supports their child’s growth at home, at school, and in everyday life.

Why
Beacon Rehabilitation

While you’ll work directly with our team of occupational therapists, we also collaborate with trusted professionals when additional expertise or support may be helpful. Families benefit most when everyone is working together toward the same goal: helping children and adults thrive.

Our approach goes beyond therapy alone.

Beacon Rehabilitation helps families and individuals better understand their strengths and challenges, make sense of the information they’re receiving, and identify practical next steps that support success at home, at school, at work, and in everyday life.

Meet Erin Spaniol, Founder

I’m an occupational therapist, an advocate, and a parent.

Throughout my career, I’ve worked in diverse settings addressing both pediatric and adult needs. Specializing in neurorehabilitation, I have helped children develop essential skills for daily living and social interactions and have assisted adults recovering from injuries, surgeries and illness. I’ve also been on the other side of the table, trying to understand recommendations, navigate systems, and figure out what support would make the biggest difference for my own family.

That experience taught me that families need more than information. They need support, clarity, and someone who can help connect recommendations to real life.

How We Support Families

Occupational Therapy for Children

We bring occupational therapy into your home, where your child learns, plays, and navigates everyday life. Together, we’ll focus on practical strategies that build on your child’s strengths and support success in daily routines.

Parent Coaching & Advocacy

We help parents prepare for IEP meetings, understand evaluations, explore support options, and advocate with confidence. Most coaching happens virtually, making support accessible wherever you are.

Neurorehabilitation

Recovering from a stroke, brain injury, or neurological disorder takes more than a checklist. It takes a plan built around your home, your routines, and real progress you can see.

What Working Together Looks Like

Tell Me What's Been Hard

Tell me a little about yourself or loved one, your concerns, and what support you're looking for. Together, we'll determine whether my services are the right fit for your family.

Create a Meaningful Plan

Based on your needs, we'll identify practical next steps. That may include occupational therapy in your home, parent coaching, or a combination of services.

Move Forward Together

As your needs evolve, we'll continue adjusting our approach to provide support that remains meaningful, practical, and aligned with your family's goals.

Find Your Way Forward

When you are not sure what your child needs, steady guidance helps.
